Also note, although you immediately receive a computer generated invoice upon registering, the course manual and content is manually sent electronically. While we do try to do this as soon as possible it can take up to 48 business hours.


The EQ50 online course is also the required precourse study guide used for our signature Equinology ® Equine Body Worker (EEBW) Certification courses. The EEBW course numbers: EQ100, EQ101, EQ102 and EQ105 Parts A and B are all the same course content but differ in amount of days attending and hours per day. You will also find the EQ50 Equine Anatomy Distance Study course very helpful if taking courses from another program as well as any of Equinology\\\\\\\'s courses in anatomy, neurology, biomechanics, saddle fitting and any other modality for horses.


Signing up for this course now allows you the luxury of studying well ahead of time if you intend to take courses in the future or if you are looking for a review. With the expanded EQ50 course, we have determined it takes around 100 hours to complete.

PLEASE NOTE: Upon registering you will receive a computer generated invoice but the course content has to be sent manually by the office. This may take up to two business days. You will also receive via email documents from the Equinology office in regards to course criteria and course content usage.


The complete course manual is sent to you via a hyperlink from You Send It to download directly to your computer to save or print. Additional Learning Activities for each of the four sections are found on the Equine Anatomy Yahoo group site which is limited to registered students. Once you are registered you will be sent an invitation to the group. You will be able to talk amongst yourselves in the group and also ask questions. Debranne Pattillo will be monitoring the group should you have any questions for her directly in regards to the course material.


To support the Section Three: Palpating Surface Anatomy, a video is up at and the two parts can be located by typing Equinology in the search box. This video was done by the participants of the EQ101: Equine Body Worker® Certification Course and the EQ103: Advanced Equine Massage Techniques Level One at Flying Cloud Farm, Petaluma, CA in April and May of 2009. They stayed after class several days to show you the bones against the horse and then how to locate the surface anatomy! Illustrations also help the material. This video is available to the general public (ps. there is no audio)


This is a self paced group and there is no need to be in front of a computer at a scheduled time. You have one year from the time of registration to go through the course material. When you have done this, you will request the final exam (which will be emailed to you upon request) and you have a time limit of 2 months to complete the exam.  No worries! You have 3 attempts to pass.


A $35 administration charge is added to this course to cover handling costs of certificates of completion for student\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s documentation which includes processing paperwork and registration for the course (copyright notices and credit card fee) and server charges to send files to the group as well as numerous other costs the Equinology office incurs to enable you to participant. The admin fee we charge is actually less than expenses we acquire for each participant.

If you do not have a credit card you can send a money order for the amount. We will not give you our banking account information due to security reasons!
